GREEN RAVEN was founded by creative technology and cultural sector consultant Ian Ravenscroft to help creative businesses, arts and culture organisations, and sector bodies to push things forward.

Through Green Raven, Ian supports the creative industries as a consultant, advisor, strategist, and mentor. He helps creative studios, funding bodies, and cultural organisations to innovate, think strategically, win and deliver funded projects, establish partnerships, and grow.

Green Raven is built on experience across broadcast, digital, production, and media with a focus on emerging and immersive technologies. Founder Ian began in digital and social for the cultural sector before becoming a member of the BBC's Digital Guerrillas content innovation team and subsequently BBC Three as its first member of staff in Birmingham.

Recent Green Raven projects include delivering virtual reality experiences for the British Film Institute (BFI), exploring photogrammetry-led VR for StoryFutures Academy with Second Home Studios, advising on immersive projects with Birmingham Royal Ballet and Horniman Museum, advising on XR design processes for Royal Shakespeare Company.

Green Raven has also guided augmented reality projects for Coventry City of Culture and the Commonwealth Games 2022 Festival with Create Central, and supports XR services company Juice Immersive to develop roadmaps and strategic applications of immersive and creative technologies.
